HARBOR HOUSE HISTORY |
The original Harbor House was built in the early 1960's by H.P.'s son, Kekaha Sugar Company manager, Lindsay FayƩ. Lindsay retired in this home and spent many happy and contented years here with his wife Roberta. He also loved to fish both on the shoreline and in the ocean and from this vantage point, he could enjoy watching his friends going in and out of the small boat landing that, largely through his efforts, the harbor was named after the parent company, Kikiaola Land Company. |

Today many of our kamaaina's who enjoy this harbor know it to be the Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor.
Kauai Harbor House in 2007 will be going under renovations by caring hands under the personal direction of Lindsay's daughter Linda FayƩ Collins, who serves today as President of Kikiaola Land Co., Ltd. |

The home retains its charm with tastefully simple, comfortable furnishings and a warm feeling of Aloha. It lies between a grove of mature mango trees, planted before the house was built by Mr. Gotunda, an early tenant on the land. The sunny, warm climate at this location is conducive to outdoor living and each part of the home opens to an inviting sitting place where relaxation and conversation can take place. |
